Solid, level concrete slabs for garages, sheds, floors, and any flat surface your property needs.

Flatwork is any horizontal concrete surface. This includes garage floors, shed pads, basement floors, workshop slabs, equipment pads, and more. Basically, if you need a flat, strong concrete surface to support weight and activity, that's flatwork.
At GG Gary Concrete Works, we pour slabs that stay level, don't crack prematurely, and handle whatever you put on them. Whether you need a place to park your truck or a foundation for your dream workshop, we build it right the first time.
Your garage floor needs to support vehicles, resist oil stains, and stay level. We pour garage slabs at least 4 inches thick with proper reinforcement. The surface slopes slightly toward the door for drainage, and we can add a smooth trowel finish or broom texture depending on your preference.
Don't set your shed on blocks or gravel. A concrete pad keeps it level, prevents rot, and makes the building more stable. We size the pad to your structure and make sure it drains properly.
HVAC units, generators, and other heavy equipment need solid support. We pour reinforced pads that distribute weight evenly and provide a stable mounting surface.
Need a new floor for your basement or workshop? We pour smooth, level slabs that you can seal and use as-is, or finish with tile, epoxy, or other floor coverings later.
A good slab starts with proper preparation. Here's what we do:
Every step matters. Skip the gravel base and your slab will settle. Skip the vapor barrier and moisture problems develop. We do the complete job because that's what produces reliable results.
Slab thickness depends on what you're putting on it. Light duty areas like walkways need 4 inches. Garage floors and driveways should be at least 4-5 inches. Heavy equipment or commercial use might need 6 inches or more.
We will assess your project and recommend the right thickness. Going thicker than minimum is smart insurance against cracking and settling, especially if soil conditions are challenging.
